How do I know the amount of soy protein a product has?
The easiest way is to check the labelon the packaging.  You must note the serving size as indicated on the nutrition fact label, if available, on the packaging to correctly determine the amount of soy protein you consume from the product. If you are unsure, consult your nutritionist.

How do I know if I am consuming 25 grams of soy protein in my diet daily?
Refer to the following table for protein content in a serving of soy food. Just one or two servings of soy food in meals will help you reach the recommended daily amount of soy protein intake.

I heard about toxins in soy. Are they dangerous?
Toxins are present naturally to protect plants including soy, from bugs and pests. They are not necessarily harmful to human. In addition, different fermentation and industrial processes of soy food remove the "toxins." Current soy food available in the market must meet the regulatory requirements and are safe for human consumption.

How much isoflavones should I consume each day?
Recent research suggests consumption of 30 to 50 mg isoflavones per day for maximum benefit. This level is attainable by incorporating various soy food into the diet. To prevent over consumption of isoflavones, it is recommended that they be taken from food and not from supplements. The USDA database contains information on the amounts of isoflavones in numerous food. 

What are the benefits of soy infant formula?
Breast milk remains the best source of nutrients for infants. However, when infant formula is warranted, soy infant formula provides high quality protein that is easy to digest. Feeding infants with soy infant formula does not predispose them to nut allergies in the future.
